On a personal level, I have struggled with anxiety in the past so I really know where you’re coming from. You can have take control of your anxiety, not let it take control of you. Anxiety should never stop you from being what you want to be or doing what you dream of doing.
Professionally, CBT is really helpful. It’s a type of talking/mind therapy that helps to change your thought process and give you skills to help cope with those anxious thoughts. Your GP can refer you for it but there is a really helpful website called Mood Gym (google Mood Gym and you can’t go wrong) which is a training programme to help you learn to cope with anxiety and stress whilst you wait for an appointment with a professional CBT therapist.
Don’t give up, you can do this!
