• Question: In your profile, you stated that you job has alot of interaction with blood. Were you ever screamish when you were younger? If so, how did you overcome it? I'm asking because when I'm older, I would like a job in the medical field, but I'm screamish around blood and I am prone to fainting! Any advice?

I sometimes feel faint when I have my own blood taken or if I have a bad cut. I think it’s different if it’s your own blood or someone elses. If it’s mine, my body has a natural reaction to make me feel a bit woozy or lightheaded. Whereas if it’s a patient’s then it doesn’t seem to bother me.
Things you can do to help is always stay really hydrated, the more you drink, the less likely you are to feel unwell with blood tests and things like that.
If you’re really keen for a career in the medical field, I would try and get some work experience so you can be exposed to that environment with blood, then you can know if it is something you can handle. Good luck!
